I think my degrees in Theology and Psychology qualified me for nothing, but probably prepared me for everything. Being a personal trainer, writer, selling my designs, and being a nerd prepared me a lot. Also the being raped, losing my child to the state through adoption after, experiencing big pharma own me for 10 years, doing radio for 3 years, dating a lot of assholes and a few good people, nun training, etc.... I never would have understood the world like I do today if I hadn't seen so many perspectives in such a short time. I used to be embarrassed when I said I was a "Jill of trades master of none" Now, that seems to make sense. If we don't have to rely on others for anything by "specializing" in one particular field only, then we liberate ourselves more than we know. Hell I haven't had a hair cut in 4 years! It's not hard to learn new stuff and it's fun and I think I read you live longer too. RANDOM note to self. lol. My mother still wishes I had a regular business card though and not one that says "I do what I want" and then lists my "stuff" But I just got tired of answering people about "what do you do?" What do I not do, is easier to answer. It's so cool when nobody is there to help you for the first time, you get to see what you are made of. So let your kids fall and explore on their own. I mean eve a sorority girl with no computer experience does source code for fun. Not that is lame and also rather nice if I can get enjoyment from something so "boring" than real life is excitingly awesome! Did that make sense. No point and this was not profound. I am doing this 750 words a day challenge though, so this helped me reach today's goal. lol
