I know you're headed to bed. Maybe you can pick this up in the morning. I think that reading the chapter on Demagoguery would do you some good. Ron Paul didn't want us to look at him as some sort of god, or even godfather. He said thoughts like that were antithetical to Liberty. He, instead, wanted the world Powers That Be to know that they had opposition -- that even if he did not "win", some day, exponents would put the odds in his favor. "Freedom Is Popular". Remember? It is not about him winning, it is about Liberty becoming finally, and all at once, victorious -- that as long as one of us is bright with its spark, it will have enough energy to light the fires of future generations. There are many more than one of us. It is not Ron Paul we look to now, but We The People. We the educated, we the enlightened, we the undying -- for he and she, the individual. It's high time the Powers recognized their limits, and that one of them is the human spirit, which, as long as the People exist, will never be demolished -- never eradicated -- never oppressed, as you cannot chain something metaphysical. We need to be the change we want to see. We need to shed the idea that someone should save us, and save ourselves. We must arm ourselves with knowledge, and hand the same gun to those who would ask, and in some cases, arm ourselves with other means. Means advanced upon us day to day at an alarming rate. Time is undying, and the battle has just begun. Let's not accept defeat in any of its forms. Ron would want it that way. http://wnlibrary.org/Portabel%20Documents/L/Liberty%20Defined%20-%2050%20Essential%20Issues%20That%20Effect%20Our%20Freedom%20-%20Ron%20Paul.pdf
