March 1973 -
The last American combat soldiers leave South Vietnam.
For the United States the war is officially over. Of the more than 3 million Americans who have served in the war 58,000 are dead and over 1,000 are missing in action. Some 150,000 Americans seriously wounded.
3 to 4 million Vietnamese from both sides are dead as well as 1.5 to 2 million Laotians and Cambodians.

March 2010 -

4386 dead 32,000 wounded

Afghanistan
1029 dead 10,000 wounded

We need another voice in Congress who can help stop the illegal un-Constitutional wars and prevent future ones from occuring!
